Well, friends, it’s time.
It has been my absolute privilege to write for you—all 334 of you. Every week I’ve felt so inspired by this community, and hope I’ve been able to pass some of that along to each of you.
I began Sunday Dose with the goal to make writing a habit in 2023, and with your help that’s been a success. And even though we won’t connect here, I’d love to keep writing for you with any or all of these:

What did we learn?
Coinbase launched a new chain on Thursday, called Base. There is no plan to issue a network token, and the native gas token will be Ethereum. The plan is to build an open ecosystem to onboard a billion people into web3, and Base will make it easier to build Dapps using Coinbase’s products and tools. It will enable developers to serve 110 million verified users!
"Base will not be limited to Ethereum, it will also provide easy and secure access to layer 2 networks such as Optimism, as well as other blockchains ecosystems like Solana.” (source: Coindesk)
Base is not yet live on mainnet.
NickyAds, co-founder of Mintage, joined the Daily Dose on Thursday to share news about what will be a fashion label for the metaverse. NickyAds has almost 20 years in the music industry, including supporting Snoop Dogg on his management team. As he immersed himself in web3 he realized, from his music industry experience, that there’s a huge opportunity with wearables: think of music merch, but more dynamic. This is how he was led to cofound Mintage

LiaNaro.eth joined us on Wednesday to talk about her new collection. Lia is an 8-year-old Ukranian-American mixed media artist, who dreams of becoming a professional mainstream artist of her generation. She sees the world through her own creative lens, and just launched her collection “Tribute to the World:”
